At XL, we're all about seeing young people find a safe place where they're accepted, can have a laugh, and most importantly, discover a life-changing God!
Ali Lait is our Youth Pastor, and she is doing an awesome job leading and building XL Youth Ministries. Ali is a gifted leader with a passion to see young people understand their true identity in Christ, and become the true influencers of their generation in our complex world. We thank Hannah Williamson for overseeing XL for the last year and assisting with the transition to Ali, and of course to the awesome team who support XL!!

XL Youth is at the heart of our Youth ministry. XL meets The Bridge, Latchett Road on Thursday evenings from 7:30pm-9:00pm. It's a fun and interactive night with insane games, engaging topics, life stories & an intro to who Jesus is

Young Lions is a national programme designed to encourage young people to take control of their life & shape themselves rather than being shaped by the world around the. We take a group from XL every year to be a part of it.

On Sundays at the Bridge Church, we run an interactive session three weeks in four, for our young people called XL Sunday. This is led by one of our great team, and takes place during the main church preach, offering an excellent opportunity for them to hear Gods word tailored for them, and to discuss issues to do with life and faith. .

We are hoping to re-launch XL hub later in the spring 2023. The hub is our after-school club that will run from 3.00pm - 5:00pm. We will serve free food & drink for the young people out front and inside we have a chill zone, games, and even a study area! The aim is to create a positive environment where young people feel safe to express themselves and are provided with any support they need.
